Raksha Bandhan 2026 falls on Friday, 28 August, and while gift guides for sisters are everywhere, good rakhi return gifts and gifts for brothers get far less attention — which is odd, since every rakhi thread tied on a brother’s wrist comes with an unspoken obligation to give something back. This guide skips the usual wallet-and-perfume combo and sticks to real, in-stock handcrafted pieces from Kraftskala’s artisan workshops in Jodhpur, Rajasthan: desk clocks and pen stands for the brother who works from a study table, horse and lion showpieces with genuine vastu meaning for the one who just started a new job or business, and vintage bike-shaped clocks for the brother who still talks about his first motorcycle.
Below are ten specific picks with real photos and prices between Rs.699 and Rs.2,399, a usage guide for where each piece actually belongs — office desk, study table or living room shelf — a note on when these work as quick return gifts versus a proper gift for a brother, care tips, and answers to the questions we hear most often when people shop for rakhi return gifts online. इस लेख को हिंदी में पढ़ें.
Every order also qualifies for our current Monsoon Offer right now — an extra 10% off, applied automatically at checkout, valid until 10 August 2026 — so ordering in the first week of August gets you a better price and enough cash-on-delivery transit buffer before the 28 August rakhi.
Why Choose Handcrafted Rakhi Return Gifts & Gifts for Brothers
Most rakhi return gifts are picked in a hurry at a general store the morning of the festival, which is exactly why they rarely get kept. A hand-cast brass lion pair or a hand-painted iron bike clock reads differently — it sits on a desk or shelf for years, not a drawer for a week. Every piece in this guide is made by artisan clusters in Jodhpur working in iron, brass or resin, so the hand-finished detailing is the point, not a shortcut cut in production. That matters more for a brother’s gift than most: men’s decor and gifting is a thin category everywhere, and a well-made desk clock or vastu horse pair fills it better than another tie or wallet ever could.
Ordering is built for how rakhi shopping actually happens — often for a brother in another city, often decided a few days before the festival. Every Kraftskala order ships with cash on delivery across India, free shipping over Rs.999, a GST invoice for your records, and safe fragile packing designed specifically for iron, resin and marble pieces, so a bike clock or horse showpiece reaches his doorstep intact even if you have never been to the city you are shipping to. Companies sending rakhi gifts to male employees or channel partners in bulk should use our B2B catalog instead of ordering these one at a time.
10 Rakhi Return Gifts & Gifts for Brothers (2026)
Rajasthani Meenakari Table Clock — Rs.699
A compact 6-inch marble-finish desk clock with fine meenakari work — the most practical rakhi return gift on this list, small enough to hand over to several brothers, cousins or brothers-in-law without a big spend.
Monkey Pen Stand — Rs.899
A playful iron pen and stationery holder shaped like a monkey — a good pick for a younger brother still in college, since it earns a spot on his study table instead of getting shelved after the festival.
Vintage Bullet Bike Clock (Blue) — Rs.999
A rustic iron motorcycle-shaped clock modelled on a classic Royal Bullet — the pick that reliably gets a reaction, and a strong choice for the brother who rides or has ever owned a bike like this one.
Vintage Bullet Bike Clock (Red) — Rs.1,099
The same bike clock in a red and gold finish — pick this one over the blue if his room or office already leans toward warmer tones, or if you are gifting a pair to two brothers who like to compare notes.
Auto Rickshaw Pen Stand & Clock — Rs.999
A two-in-one auto rickshaw showpiece that doubles as a pen stand and a working clock — a fun, distinctly Indian desk piece for a brother who has just moved into his first office cabin.
Retro Telephone Tabletop Clock — Rs.999
A vintage rotary-telephone-shaped tabletop clock — a conversation-starter pick for a brother who collects retro or quirky objects rather than standard showpieces.
Golden Horse Showpiece — Rs.1,499
A 9-inch resin horse in a career-and-wealth vastu pose, sized for an office desk — the pick to choose for a brother who has just started a new job, switched careers or launched a business this year.
Bronze Horse Pair Showpiece — Rs.1,999
Two running horses in a bronze finish, a classic symbol of strength, speed and success — a safe, well-liked pick for a living room shelf or console table rather than a desk.
Brass Lion Pair Showpiece — Rs.1,999
A vintage brass lion pair meant for the northeast or east direction of a home or office by vastu — the pick for an elder brother who takes vastu seriously, or the head of the family’s own desk.
Premium Brass Horse Pair — Rs.2,399
The premium pick on this list — a heavier, more detailed brass horse pair built as a living room centerpiece, best for an elder brother’s milestone birthday or a new home rather than a routine rakhi.
Where Each Gift Belongs — Desk, Study Table or Living Room
For an office desk or study table, the Monkey Pen Stand, the Auto Rickshaw Pen Stand & Clock and the Rajasthani Meenakari Table Clock are all sized to sit next to a keyboard or notebook without crowding it. The two Bullet Bike Clocks and the Retro Telephone Clock work equally well on a desk or a bedroom shelf. For a living room console or bookshelf, the Golden Horse Showpiece, Bronze Horse Pair, Brass Lion Pair and Premium Brass Horse Pair are sized to be seen from across the room rather than up close.
If you are shopping for more than one brother, cousin-brother or brother-in-law this Raksha Bandhan, the table clocks and pen stands below Rs.1,000 make it easy to gift several without the budget adding up too fast — see our full handcrafted gifts under Rs.999 guide for more picks in the same range.
The Gifting Angle: Rakhi Return Gifts vs a Proper Gift for a Brother
A rakhi return gift and a full gift for a brother are not quite the same thing, even though they land on the same day. A return gift is what a sister hands back the moment the rakhi is tied — quick, warm, usually under Rs.1,000 — and the Rajasthani Meenakari Table Clock, Monkey Pen Stand and Auto Rickshaw Pen Stand all fit that moment well. A proper gift for a brother, on the other hand, is planned ahead and meant to last — the vastu horse and lion pairs on this list, priced from Rs.1,499 to Rs.2,399, work better there, especially if he has recently started a new job, opened an office or moved into his own place. If you are choosing what to give your sister this season instead, our Raksha Bandhan gift ideas for your sister guide covers that side, and if you are already thinking ahead to Bhai Dooj later this year, our Bhai Dooj 2026 gift ideas guide has more sibling-gifting picks. For a bigger-budget gift, our Premium & Luxury Gifting Guide covers pieces from Rs.2,999 upward, and our full horse figurines meaning & vastu guide and iron showpieces buying guide are worth a look if he is the kind of brother who likes to know the meaning behind a gift before he displays it.
Care Tips for These Handcrafted Pieces
- Dust the iron bike clocks and pen stands weekly with a dry microfiber cloth to keep the hand-painted detailing from dulling.
- Wipe the marble-finish Rajasthani table clock with a barely damp cloth, then dry immediately — prolonged moisture can affect the meenakari work.
- Clean the brass lion and horse pairs with a dry soft cloth for routine dusting; use a proper brass polish only occasionally, as over-polishing can wear down fine detailing over years.
- Keep the resin Golden Horse Showpiece away from direct, prolonged sunlight, which can fade its finish over time.
- Save the original packaging for every piece — it is the safest way to move or store these later, especially for a brother who shifts cities for work.
