TWO MUSICIANS, ONE SMALL MEHFIL
Two seated musicians with big curled moustaches. One lifts a gold shehnai to his lips. The other rests both hands on a small tabla in his lap. One plays the tune and one keeps the beat.
The shehnai player wears a green turban and a red shirt over a sweeping blue robe. The tabla player wears an orange turban and a purple shirt over a purple robe. Both are covered in fine dot work and painted patterns.
HAND-PAINTED IRON
Each figure is shaped from iron and painted by hand: the face, the moustache, the turban, the shirt and every dot on the robe. Because the colour is put on by hand, small differences between pieces are normal and not a fault.
SIZE AND PLACEMENT
Each musician stands about 9 inches (23 cm) tall, 5 inches (13 cm) across and 2 inches (5 cm) deep. Please check the size before you order: these are tabletop and wall pieces, not large statues. They suit a living room console, a TV unit, a bookshelf, a study desk or an office cabin.
ON A TABLE OR ON A WALL
A slim gold frame rises behind each figure, with a small loop at the top. Stand them on their round bases, or hang each one from a nail by the loop. Nails are not included.
GIFTING
An easy gift for Diwali, griha pravesh and housewarming, weddings, anniversaries and corporate hampers.
CARE
Keep indoors and dry. Dust with a soft dry cloth. Avoid water, damp and abrasive cleaners. The instruments are decorative and do not play.
In the box: 2 musician figurines (1 shehnai player and 1 tabla player). Material: Iron. Finish: Hand-painted. Country of origin: India. The furniture, diyas, flowers and gift box in the photographs are styling props and are not included.
