A little iron tree with two birds on it
A magenta bird sits on one branch and a blue one on the other, both picked out in gold with fine white
dots. The leaves run green into gold, with the veins drawn in yellow. Underneath, three round bowls are
joined into a single base, each finished in antique copper tone with a band of white dots and a row of
yellow strokes around the rim.
Three bowls, one piece
The bowls are fixed together, not three loose katoris. Fill them with dry fruits, wrapped sweets,
mukhwas or the small things guests reach for, and each one stays where you put it. Because the base is a
single piece you can lift the whole thing and carry it to another room.
It comes in two parts
The stem carrying the leaves and the birds has a threaded end that turns into the centre of the bowl
base by hand. The piece arrives packed flat and goes together in a few seconds, and comes apart just as
easily when you want to store it or pack it as a gift.
The size, honestly
About 12 inches tall, on a base of about 8 by 8 inches, weighing 480 g. Please look at the dimension
photograph and the one of it held in a hand before ordering.
Iron, not brass
The frame and the bowls are iron with a rust-resistant painted finish. The warm copper and gold tones
you see are paint, not solid brass or copper.
